Just two months ago, the Dallas Mavericks purchased land to build a brand new practice facility. Now that the construction has begun, owner Mark Cuban shared a video of the building's in-progress frame on Twitter.

With his purchase of the land in June, Cuban hoped to give back to the city of Dallas. Per the Dallas News:

“In terms of my negotiation with the city and playing one municipality off another, it didn't happen. I didn't ask for a penny. I didn't want a penny. … I feel like I owe the city of Dallas more than they owe me. And they don't owe me anything.”

The facility will sit on a 13-acre plot in the Design District of Dallas. Although Cuban had hoped to have the facility ready by training camp this Fall, it seems unlikely that the building will be complete in time.
