Washington Wizards‘ forward Markieff Morris will not face charges for the marijuana-related incident that took place at Philadelphia International Airport in May.

According to John Gonzalez of CSNPhilly.com, Morris’ friend will be charged instead after admitting the marijuana was his.

Morris played 37 games for the Phoenix Suns this past season but was traded to the Washington Wizards after tension with the Suns and an eventual fight between Morris and teammate Archie Goodwin in Morris’ last game.

Morris played 27 games with the Wizards and contributed some important minutes, averaging 12.4 points and 5.9 rebounds in just over 26 minutes. He was also able to raise his field goal percentage by 10% from 37 to 47. A drastic change for such a short period of time.
