Bubba Watson debuting fire Jordan kicks at the Masters
Bubba Watson will be showing off some crazy shoe game at this week’s Masters at Augusta National.
Watson took to Instagram to show off some incredibly sleek Air Jordan golf spikes he plans to rock. Augusta is already known for its scenery with the azaleas in full bloom, but the two-time Masters champion is bringing his own flair.

Can Bubba Watson harness MJ’s aura as he guns for his third green jacket at the Masters?
The exuberant PGA Tour star has plenty of past success at Augusta. Watson’s ability to shape the ball in a variety of ways has always been his most exciting attribute, and it helped him win the green jacket in 2012. He captured his first major championship at that Masters with one of the most memorable shots in tournament history.
Watson was far from finished, however. He won again two years later in a thrilling duel with Jordan Spieth.
The past few years have produced mixed results. Bubba finished tied for fifth at the 2018 Masters and tied for 12th in 2019, but finished solo 57th after posting a 4-over score of 292 this past fall. Still, Watson’s past successes and familiarity with the course make him a dark horse ahead of Round 1 on Thursday.
There are a number of storylines to watch this week at Augusta, like Dustin Johnson going for a second consecutive green jacket and Jordan Spieth hoping to continue his 2021 resurgence.
But Bubba’s unique flair and awesome spikes make him as entertaining a follow as anyone else in the field.
