The Detroit Lions will head to Lambeau Field to take on the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football in Week 6. In the center of all of it, all eyes will be on Matthew Stafford as the Lions attempt to make a statement in the NFC North.

Detroit had their bye week in Week 5 and they currently hold a 2-1-1 record (second place in the NFC North). Over the course of the team's first four games, Stafford has thrown for 1,122 yards, nine touchdowns, and two interceptions.

The Lions' veteran quarterback has been fairly efficient in Darrell Bevell's new offense in Detroit. This week will be the biggest test that Stafford has faced this season as he plays in a hostile environment in Green Bay on primetime television.

With that in mind, here are three bold predictions for Stafford in Week 6 against Green Bay.

3. Stafford will throw four touchdowns

The Lions have implemented a new-look offense in 2019 that actually utilizes the running game. Kerryon Johnson has become a focal point of the offense to take some of the pressure off of Stafford's shoulders.

As a result, Stafford has been asked to throw the ball fewer times than he's accustomed to. Nonetheless, the strong-armed quarterback has still been able to throw for nine touchdowns in four games.

Stafford's career-high in passing touchdowns against the Packers in a single game is five. The veteran quarterback will come up just one short of that with his eighth career game of having four touchdown passes.

2. Stafford will throw over 400 yards

There's no doubt that the strength of Green Bay's defense is their pass defense. From their pass rush to their secondary, the Packers are a much-improved group from just a year ago.

The signings of Za'Darius Smith, Preston Smith, and Adrian Amos has been well worth the price for Green Bay so far. The Smith duo has helped lead the Packers to accumulate 15 sacks this season (tied for sixth-most in the NFL).

At the same time, the Lions boast one of the best offensive lines in the NFL; allowing just seven sacks this season (tied for fourth-fewest in the NFL). With Detroit's offensive line giving Stafford time, the talented passer will throw for over 400 yards on Monday night.

1. Stafford will win the game

Yeah, yeah, this may seem like an easy prediction but after looking further, Stafford hasn't fared well against the Packers on the road. When Stafford plays at Lambeau Field, the longtime Lions signal-caller has only won three of the eight games he's been a part of in his career.

This is a completely different Packers team that Stafford beat last season in Week 17, 31-0. Under Matt LaFleur, Green Bay has taken on an identity of being a run-oriented offense with a talented defense on the other side.

Of course, Aaron Rodgers is still manning the Packers offense and has a chance to change the outlook of any game with his arm. Even with Rodgers on the other side of the field, Stafford will show the world he can win on the road in an important game in Week 6.
