Everyone can be starstruck — even billionaire businessmen like Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban. In an interview conducted by rapper Snoop Dogg, Cuban was asked about that one celebrity that he would never forget of meeting as a team owner. Cuban didn’t spend too much time thinking of a name, immediately saying that it was Philadelphia 76ers great and Basketball Hall of Famer Julius Erving, whom he was most thrilled to have met early in his career as an NBA team owner.

Dane Carbaugh of NBC Sports has the words of that particular conversation:

“My first All-Star Game, I think it was D.C. that I went to and I got tickets, I owned the team. And I see Dr. J, and I did one of these — I gave my guy a camera, wasn’t even a phone camera it was a camera — and I’m like “You go stand over there”.

“And I literally have framed in my office a picture of Dr. J just standing there, and me doing one of these (smiles and mimics leaning out from behind someone).”

Mark Cuban isn’t that easily awed at the sight of celebrities these days given the numerous times he’s had meeting plenty of them over the years of being a celebrity himself but we're pretty sure he’s not the only one who remembers meeting the one and only Dr. J.
