Not that he is not deserving enough, Dallas Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki will be honored by the organization many times over in the next two years.
Nowitzki will be playing under his final contract for the Mavericks, and will indeed receive lots of love before he takes to the court for the last time.
The team will be opening a new practice facility, which will include a sauna, two courts, offices, and many more amenities.
There is a wall outside of the building with art painted on it, and that's the beginning for Nowitzki.
The wall has a mural of the German big man, that will read the words ‘Dallas Strong' as he is the face of the organization and a Mavs lifer.
Just one of the many tributes we will see, as his 2-year deal winds down.
