The Dallas Mavericks are filing a protest with the NBA over the end of their 111-107 loss to the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday night, according to Marc Stein of The New York Times.
The Mavs want to replay the final 9.7 seconds of the game after a controversial call involving a John Collins basket that helped seal the Hawks' win:

Dallas will be making the case that the end of the game should be replayed, with Atlanta ahead by two points and a jump ball with 9.7 seconds remaining

The Mavs will also ask the NBA to review the first possession of the game:

With time running out in Saturday's game, Dorian Finney-Smith blocked a Trae Young shot attempt. Collins grabbed the ball and scored, but a goaltend was initially called on the blocked shot. While the goaltend was waved off, Collins' basket was allowed to stand.
Mavs owner Mark Cuban went on a rant against the officiating after the loss, so it's no surprise the team is filing this protest. The officials explained the call after the game, but clearly Cuban and the Mavs are still upset about it.
Dallas dropped to 34-23 on the season with the loss, which saw Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis sit out. That record is good for seventh place in the competitive Western Conference. The Mavs are 5.5 games clear of the eighth-seeded Memphis Grizzlies and a half-game behind the sixth-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder.
