The Dallas Mavericks may have lost Game 1 of their series with the Golden State Warriors, but head coach Jason Kidd is not one bit bothered.

In what could be said as an encouraging message for the Mavs and some sort of warning for the Warriors, Kidd reminded everyone how they are a team that knows how to bounce back. Sure, they lost by 25 points to the Warriors, but it's not the first time they have been blown out and managed to win the next game:

“We’ve always found a way to answer,” Kidd said after the 112-87 defeat, per Tim MacMahon of ESPN.

Sure enough, the Mavs aren't a team that easily gets demoralized. In fact, it's quite the opposite as they have proven to get better and more motivated when they lose. Remember this is the same squad that fell down 2-0 to the Phoenix Suns and then won four of the next five games.

In that same series against the Suns, they lost Game 5 by 30 points, but in return, they gave Phoenix a 27-point beating the following showdown.

Of course the pressure is on Jason Kidd and Dallas to deliver. The Warriors are not the same team as the Suns, especially since they are filled with players with championship experience. Nonetheless, there is really no reason to panic despite the drubbing they got.

It will be a long series, and the Mavs know that very well.
