Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic has been playing extremely well this season. He's averaging almost a triple-double right now with 30.8 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 9.6 assists. He's also started to draw comparisons to four-time MVP LeBron James with how phenomenal he's been playing despite being just 20 years old.

Doncic has earned praises from all around the league, including his teammate Kristaps Porzingis, who says he has what it takes to be one of the best players in the league.

Doncic is currently third in the league in scoring and second in assists. He was also a force to be reckoned with, at least for the month of November, as he became the third player in NBA history to put up a 30-point triple-double in a month.

With the Slovenian guard leading the way, the Mavericks have become one of the best and most exciting teams in the league with a 12-6 record, good for fifth in the Western Conference.

But if Dallas would like to take their game to the next level, Doncic isn't the only one who will need to put up monster numbers. Porzingis will need to be more consistent as well. Although he's putting up 17.3 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks this season, he's also coming off one of the worst games of his career with a two-point performance in the Mavs' 120-113 win against the Phoenix Suns on November 30.

But of course, the Mavs aren't rushing things with Porzingis, who's coming off an ACL injury that sidelined him for more than a year. The team is optimistic that when KP starts to play more consistent, they will be one of the best teams in the league.
