Dallas Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle wasn't feeling it on Monday after his injury-riddled Mavs suffered a tough loss against the Sacramento Kings.

Without Kristaps Porzingis, Maxi Kleber, Josh Richardson and JJ Redick, Luka Doncic couldn't work his magic against Sacramento. The Mavs dug themselves a hole early in the game and basically got stuck.

The Mavs' tight schedule continues as they fly to San Francisco to battle it out against the Golden State Warriors on the second half of a back-to-back. Unsurprisingly, Carlisle wasn't excited to respond to more injury questions.

“I don't know who's playing tomorrow. Don't ask. Don't anybody ask. Don't ask. I'm tired of all that stuff,” the Mavs coach said postgame, via Callie Caplan of Dallas Morning News.

Rick Carlisle's Mavs had an opportunity to gain some ground in their quest to land the fifth seed in the West, but they instead dropped their second loss to the Kings in less than two weeks.

Rather than cutting the Los Angeles Lakers' lead to less than a couple of games, the Mavs are now 2.5 games away from the fifth spot with just 12 games left in the regular season.

Injuries and health and safety protocols have definitely been bothersome for Dallas all season long. However, that's been the case for almost every team in the association given the uncertainty of today's world as well as a compressed 72-game schedule.

With the Mavs headed to the Bay Area on Tuesday to try and go back to the win column, can anyone ask the former Coach of the Year who's playing? Oh right, don't ask.
