Kristaps Porzingis is putting on a series of incredible performances for the Dallas Mavericks. His latest outing against the Minnesota Timberwolves has been particularly impressive that it's not bad to say that Porzingis' All-Star shape is back.

Justin Kubatko of Basketball Reference pointed out that Porzingis achieved something that has never been done in the history of the NBA during his play against the Timberwolves. He became the first player to ever multiple games with 35 points, five three-point shots, and five blocks.

It was a great showcase of skill from Porzingis as his hot streak continues. The way he played around a Minnesota defense that didn't have Karl-Anthony Towns on the roster is a treat for many Mavs fans. He's definitely becoming the big man that Mark Cuban traded for last season.

The last ten games have seen him perform at an incredibly high level. He's averaging 26.2 points, 10.7 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.0 steals, and 1.7 blocks a game. His shooting splits are at .497/.391/.861, making him a very effective scoring option for Rick Carlisle whenever opposing teams are clamping up on Luka Doncic.

The biggest fear the Mavs had after Dirk Nowitzki's retirement is the absence of an offensive juggernaut who can score from anywhere on the court. While Luka Doncic is doing magic with the ball, the Latvian superstar is doing a great job of filling the Dirk-sized hole left in the hearts of fans throughout the league.

Hopefully, this run of form for Porzingis will continue to a great postseason run. He will be a key player for the Mavs if they're going to have any form of success in the playoffs.
