Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic is one of the most polarizing superstars in the NBA. His brilliance was on full display during the NBA Playoffs, although the Mavs fell short of their aspirations after losing to the Warriors in the Conference Finals. Nevertheless, other stars in the league certainly appreciate what Luka is capable of and that includes The King, LeBron James.

On the latest episode of “The Shop”, the Los Angeles Lakers veteran explained why he absolutely loves to watch Doncic do his thing on the court.

Quote via Eurohoops:

“He can control a game. He doesn’t even have to shoot. Literally, he’ll walk the ball up ten straight times and get to his spot every single time, just because of his pace,” James said of the Mavs star. “He knows when he comes off a pick and roll if they’re hard showing or if they hedging or if they dropping the pick and roll. He knows I can turn the corner because I got this shoulder, and I know the third line of defense, when I get there, if I just slow down and use my pivots, not even jump, just the Euro one-two, this guy’s flying by every time. It’s the mind.”

Straight facts from Bron. Doncic, the face of the Mavs franchise, is an absolute wizard when it comes to controlling the pace of the game. He might not be the most athletic player around, but Luka knows exactly how to slow things down and speed them up when necessary. Plus, the Slovenian's vision is top-tier. He is such a gifted passer, never mind his ability to score the rock from all over the floor.

James even recently said that Luka Doncic is his favorite player in the Association. We can see why.
