Another game, another record broken for Luka Doncic. On Wednesday, the Dallas Mavericks superstar posted another triple-double performance against the Atlanta Hawks with a 28-10-10 line. The young Slovenian was fantastic all evening as he helped the Mavs win their third straight win at home.

With his league-leading seventh triple-double this season, Doncic just made history by passing the legendary John Havlicek as the 13th all-time with a total of 32 triple-doubles under his name (via NBA History).

Doncic passing a HOF like Havlicek in just his third season in the NBA is nothing short of impressive. The 21-year-old is arguably the most exciting young star in the league and has developed a knack for nonchalantly walking into triple-double performances like Wednesday's.

After being in the MVP conversation last season and leading the Mavs to the playoffs, Doncic is looking to keep carrying this young Mavs squad all the way to the top. Their 2020-21 season though has been filled with riddles as injuries and health and safety protocols have forced key guys to miss a huge chunk of games. The inconsistencies in their line-up this season has caused the Mavs to drop a ton of games and they've fallen in the standings in the past few weeks.

Fortunately, the team is slowly looking like 100% as guys like Kristaps Porzingis are slowly getting back to their game. Doncic is hoping he can continue to lead this young team with nights like this as they continue to find their groove almost halfway through the season.
