Dallas Mavericks rookie Luka Doncic earned an incredible achievement on Friday night after an excellent performance against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Doncic helped lead the Mavs to a 119-115 victory in Minnesota, and he did so by notching 29 points, 12 assists, and eight rebounds in the game.

By doing so, he became the youngest player since Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James to reach 25 points and 10 assists in a game, according to ESPN.

There's no doubt that Doncic has put together a tremendous season in his first year in the NBA, and this is yet another reason to see why he could be a future star in the league.

He's now averaging 20.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game this season, and while it'll be tough to become the next LeBron, Doncic has certainly shown an enormous amount of potential.

The win helped the Mavs pick up their second straight victory, with Rick Carlisle's squad now at 20-22 overall on the season.

Dallas will get an opportunity to make even more strides in the few games, as they have some tough opponents on the upcoming schedule.

Next up is a home matchup against the Golden State Warriors on Sunday before hosting the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night.
