Luka Doncic isn’t bashful in trying to show up Patrick Beverley on every chance he gets. The Dallas Mavericks star continued to lay into the Los Angeles Clippers’ diminutive defensive stopper in Game 2.

Check out this power play from the Mavs’ wunderkind as he had his way with Beverley for the bucket:

This wasn’t the first instance, either. NBA Twitter went into a frenzy after Doncic just straight up put Beverley on blast for not having the size to defend him in Game 1.

 

The audio was much clearer on this one, but his message was probably the same as her berated the Clippers guard in Game 2. It’s probably a safe bet that the Clippers will finally deploy their main stars to defend Doncic as they find themselves with their backs against the wall.

Luka Doncic scored 39 huge points for the Mavs to take a command 2-0 series lead. He added seven rebounds and seven assists for good measure, as his team pulled off the victory, 127-121.

Kawhi Leonard had an epic showing off his own, tallying 41 points including a 30-point outburst in the first half. But it clash between supporting casts that spelled the difference in this one. The Mavs got 48 points combined from Tim Hardaway Jr. and Kristaps Porzingis, which was enough to negate Paul George’s 28 points for the Clippers side.

Mavs-Clippers Game 3 is on Friday night.
