Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks dominated the voting for NBA Rookie of the Year.

Per Tim MacMahon of ESPN, the Slovenian got 98 first-place votes while two other ballots put him in second place.

Below is the voting results as posted by Howard Beck of Bleacher Report.

Even in the regular season, Luka Doncic — the third overall pick in last year's draft — was already the favorite to win the top rookie honor. Doncic, Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young, and Phoenix Suns big man DeAndre Ayton were named as the top candidates prior to the NBA Awards on Monday.

In his rookie campaign, Doncic averaged 21.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, and six assists. He also recorded eight triple-doubles, giving him the third most for a rookie behind Oscar Robertson (26) and Ben Simmons (12).

Apart from his stellar numbers, he also showcased a seemingly innate clutch ability. Who could forget his 3-point shot from the deep corner with 0.6 seconds left to tie a game against the Portland Trail Blazers? That play alone was quickly considered one of the best in the season. It came from a young phenom from Slovenia.

Indeed, this is just a sign of more good things to come for Luka Doncic. Given his competitive spirit, we know that he's not satisfied with winning Rookie of the Year. We all know that he's hungry for a championship.
