Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic was not happy with how a Phoenix Suns fan treated him during their Game 2 loss on Wednesday.

Late in the third quarter of the playoffs series, the Mavs star was heading to the locker room when a fan shouted something at him. Luka got mad by what the Suns supporter said and had to be restrained by the staff when he tried to approach the guy.

In his postgame presser following their brutal 129-109 loss, Luka Doncic opened up about the incident. While he is used to opposing fans shouting and jeering at him, he couldn't let what the said Suns faithful told him.

The Mavs guard did not mention anything specific from the exchange, but he did note that it's “bad stuff.”

“If it's something normal, I wouldn't even look because I don't care. But sometimes you're in a bad mood and they say some bad stuff. It's normal. We're people, man. It's normal to turn around,” Doncic said, per Brad Townsend of the Dallas Morning News.

It's not the first time a fan from the sidelines has tried to heckle a player. There have been numerous incidents in the 2021-22 season alone, and it surely won't end any time soon given the freedom they have.

Hopefully, though, the NBA imposes stricter punishments for exchanges like what the Mavs star had with the Suns supporter in order to not tolerate such actions from the fans.
