To let time pass amid the suspension of the NBA 2019-20 season due to the novel coronavirus, Luka Doncic and Jalen Brunson of the Dallas Mavericks had a FIFA bet. If Brunson won, Doncic would have to wear an Eagles jersey to the next Mavs game. And if Doncic won, Brunson would have to wear a Cowboys jersey.

While waiting for Doncic, Brunson was pummeling his foes online. He tweeted ‘6-0,' warning Doncic that it's not going to be easy to beat him.

But as it turned out, Doncic is a pro at FIFA. He beat Brunson 7-3.

And per rules of the bet, Brunson will wear a Cowboys jersey in the Mavs' next game whenever when it will be.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has recommended a postponement of events of 50 plus people for the next two months. As such, the NBA is eyeing the resumption of the season from mid-June to August. Owners and executives have been looking at G League courts and practice facilities. In the event that the season does resume, games will be held with no fans and limited crew.

As of this writing, a total of seven players are infected with COVID-19. These are Gobert and Donovan Mitchell of the Utah Jazz, Christian Wood of the Detroit Pistons, and four Nets players including Kevin Durant.

Given this development, it seems that time can only tell when the NBA season will resume or if it will ever continue at all. Right now, the priority of the entire world is to stop the virus' spread.
