Despite his brilliant basketball skills and tremendous intellect for the game, Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic still played for much of the season as a teenager, and teenagers are not particularly known for their cleanliness.

That lack of organization was on full display in a video posted by Tamara Jolee, who works for the Mavs:

In it, you can see that the surrounding area of Doncic’s locker looks something like a bomb site — with shoes scattered willy-nilly, jerseys disdainfully crammed into crevices in the locker and all manner of garments hanging one atop the other on two painfully overworked hooks within.

Although Doncic likely has a long and fruitful NBA career ahead of him as the face of the Mavs franchise alongside the newly acquired Kristaps Porzingis, he will have to learn to clean up his stuff a little bit better. For his part, Doncic denied that it was not him who made the mess, but that seems just a tad bit unlikely.

Doncic, the presumptive Rookie of the Year for the 2018-19 season, produced some exceptional stats in his first season in the NBA. Despite some tough competition down the end of the year from Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young, Doncic will likely take home the ROY award.

The Slovenian wonderboy produced a striking number of gorgeous stepback triples while also drilling clutch triples and buzzer-beaters all season long. Doncic has tremendous touch around the basket, and his 3-point shot is truly something to behold.

Hopefully, his locker will be as polished as his skills come next season.
