Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic has been often compared to James Harden, thanks to their playing style that relies more on craftiness, body control and passing more than athleticism. However, Golden State Warriors big man Kevon Looney thinks there remains a massive difference between the two.

Speaking to reporters ahead of Wednesday's West Finals Game 1 between the Mavs and Warriors, Looney spoke about the Harden-Doncic comparisons having experienced guarding The Beard in the past. For the Dubs center, the size of Luka makes a ton of difference.

“Luka’s able to post up pretty much anybody when he gets his shoulder on you. … The biggest difference is the size. Luka’s really strong. That kind of surprised me this year,” Looney shared, per Callie Caplan of the Dallas Morning News.

True enough, Luka Doncic might be considered a point guard, but he is a big guard to say the least. One can even say he's a point-forward, and he's using his size and body to his advantage to create mismatches at his position.

While James Harden is an elite scorer of his own right, Doncic's height, big body and passing ability make him a nightmare matchup for other players at his position. And as Kevon Looney said it, that added strength makes guarding him even more difficult.

Sure enough, the Warriors will be cautious of Luka when they meet on Wednesday, and it won't be a surprise if they make it a priority to get him as far from the rim as possible.
