The accolades just keep piling on for Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic in just his second season in the league. The 20-year-old Slovenian stud suited up in his 100th career NBA game on Sunday, in the team's 95-108 defeat at the hands of the Los Angeles Lakers at Staples Center.

Despite the setback, Doncic still managed to record a personal achievement, joining NBA royalty Oscar Robertson as the only players in history to post 2,000+ pts, 750+ rebs and 500+ assists in their first 100 career games.

With his MVP-worthy start so far to the 2019-20 NBA season, Doncic has been receiving comparisons to multiple Hall of Famers, with some already likening him to arguably the greatest of all time in Michael Jordan. But as far as numbers and play style goes, Doncic is much more similar to the Big O, especially with the way he casually drops triples doubles left and right.

Doncic leads the league in triple-doubles this year, tallying nine in the first two and a half months of the season. Robertson, on the other hand, is still the league's top triple-double guy, achieving the feat 181 times throughout his 14-year career.

Luka still has ways to go to reach Robertson's status, but it's truly an honor to be held on the same breath as the legend, especially for a second-year player.

Doncic, meanwhile, struggled against the Lakers on Sunday, shooting just 5-for-14 for the field fo 19 points, four rebounds, seven assists, and two steals. He also missed all six of his attempts from downtown.
