Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic has come out with his official message for Mavs fans following their season officially coming to an end on Sunday.

Doncic shared a very simple and straightforward message of appreciation for Dallas via his Twitter account:

For those lacking context, the MFFL hashtag is an acronym for Mavericks Fans For Life. Clearly, Doncic is very appreciative of all the support the Dallas supporters have given him and the rest of the team throughout the season.

The Mavs' campaign came to a bitter end on Sunday following their 111-97 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 6 of their first-round matchup. Doncic was his usually dominant self, finishing with a game-high 38 points on 15-of-28 shooting, along with nine boards, nine assists, and a steal in 42 minutes of action. The 21-year-old barely missed what would have been his third triple-double in this series alone.

All in all, Doncic had a tremendous sophomore campaign for the Mavs. He upped his tally in nearly all statistical categories this year, with averages of 28.8 points (on 46.3 percent from the field), 9.4 rebounds, 8.8 assists, and 1.0 steals. The Slovenian also knocked down 2.8 triples per contest on a 31.6-percent clip. Doncic had such a great year that at one point, he was even part of the MVP conversation.

If there was any doubt as to Doncic being the real deal, then his second year in with the Mavs should have effectively quashed any and all of the same.

Dallas has found its next cornerstone superstar, and he should only get better from this point on.
