Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic has already begun filling up his career stat sheet despite being only in his third season. The 21-year-old is now considered one of the best players in the NBA, and his ascendance at this point is all but assured.

However, even though he’s a triple-double machine with an innate scoring ability, his shot-blocking prowess is not quite up to the high standard of his other skills. That all changed on Wednesday night against the Charlotte Hornets when the Slovenian phenom piled up a whopping four blocks as the Mavs defeated Buzz City, 104-93.

Always ready to make an amusing remark, Mavs center (and eminently lovable person) Boban Marjanovic had a hilarious response to Doncic’s new career high:

Of course, Boban Marjanovic is no stranger to blocks due to his hulking 7-foot-4 frame and hilarious 7-foot-10 wingspan. Despite that, his career-high in blocks all-time also happens to be four. With that being the case, his remark is even funnier.

Marjanovic seems to be a wonderful teammate and truly loves to help Luka Doncic grow both on and off the court, and he knows that having a good laugh every once in a while will surely help the Mavs' camaraderie and morale.

Despite a slow start in which his 3-point shot simply was not falling, Doncic has started to come around through the Mavs' first 10 games.

Although more and more games are getting postponed due to the NBA’s rather lax COVID-19 protocols following the ringing success that was the Orlando bubble, it’s good to see Luka and Boban have some fun while the season’s future is up in the air.
