Dallas Mavericks budding superstar Luka Doncic treated his Mavs teammates by setting up an advanced private screening of cop action comedy “Bad Boys for Life.” The upcoming film is the third installment of the famed Bad Boyz franchise starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence.

It seems that the Mavs squad have been bonding over movies, as they also rented out a movie theater earlier in the season to watch Adam Sandler's “Uncut Gems.”

The young Mavs team has exceeded expectations at the early goings of the 2019-20 NBA regular season campaign, amassing a 24-15 start — good for sixth place in the Western Conference.

Luka Doncic has emerged as the team's leader in just his second year in the league, averaging 29.1 points, 9.7 rebounds, 9.0 assists and 1.1 steals.

Team chemistry has never been an issue for Rick Carlisle's wards, but it's great to see Doncic continue to build rapport with his teammates with his kind gesture.

The 20-year-old Slovenian has not missed a beat since returning from an ankle injury last month. The Mavs, however, has had a tough stretch in their last 10 games, alternating wins and losses and going 5-5. The team is indeed lacking a veteran presence outside of reserve guard JJ Barea, which could ultimately be a problem for them come playoff time.

Doncic, meanwhile, is expected to be named a starter in the NBA All-Star Game next month. He also continues to be one of the leading candidates for the MVP award.

Dallas will face the Golden State Warriors at Chase Center on Tuesday night.
