The Dallas Mavericks won't be going to the postseason this 2018-19 campaign. On a positive note, the Western Conference franchise will be able to properly send off legendary forward Dirk Nowitzki when the regular season comes to an end as the Mavs know that Tuesday's game could be his last at home.

With the Mavs slated to take on the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday, April 9, team owner Mark Cuban recently offered his two cents in regards to Nowitzki's possible final home game for Dallas. Dallas has three games remaining on their schedule, with two of their final three matchups coming on the road.

Dirk Nowitzki, of course, has spent his entire 21-year NBA career as a member of the Mavs. He was even honored at this year's NBA All-Star Game after being added to “Team Giannis” and hitting a few 3-pointers. The Mavs legend was notably added to this year's festivities alongside Miami Heat shooting guard Dwyane Wade, who is also hanging up his sneakers for good at the end of this season.

Nowitzki led Dallas to the franchise's first and only NBA title as well. He is averaging 6.7 points and 2.8 rebounds per game this season while shooting 36.1 percent from the field, 31.1 percent from downtown and 75.6 percent from the free-throw line.
