The New York Police Department is reportedly investigating Mavs power forward and former New York Knicks star big man Kristaps Porzingis for rape, according to Tina Moore of the New York Post.

The incident, per the report, allegedly happened hours after Porzingis tore his ACL with the Knicks last season in February.

Hours after suffering a devastating knee injury at Madison Square Garden last year, former Knicks star Kristaps Porzingis came home and allegedly raped a neighbor he’d invited to his luxe Manhattan penthouse, the woman told police, according to law enforcement sources.

The woman made her stunning allegation against the 23-year-old player on Thursday afternoon — and investigators consider her credible, one high-ranking NYPD source told The Post.

The alleged attack happened Feb. 7, 2018 at the soaring Sky building in Midtown West, the woman told cops at the 10th Precinct stationhouse, the sources told The Post.

The Knicks traded Kristaps Porzingis to the Mavs at the February trade deadline after the power forward reportedly requested a trade.

KP has fully recovered from the injury and is expected to make his Mavs debut next season.

We'll have further updates as they come in. This is, though, a very serious allegation against KP.
