Much thanks to Luka Doncic's heroics, the first-round series between the Los Angeles Clippers and Dallas Mavericks is now tied at 2-2. After the game, head coach Rick Carlisle reiterated how special of a player Doncic is, while his teammates echoed similar sentiments.

Per Brad Townsend of the Dallas Morning News, heaped praise on the Slovenian. Referring to Doncic's game-winning 3-pointer, Carlise noted that the Slovenian seems to live for these “types of moments.” Carlisle noted that the play he drew up for the final sequence was simple: get the ball to Luka's hands.

“Just a very, very special player,” Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle said. “This game today was from another planet.”

Meanwhile, Seth Curry — who chipped in 15 points in the win — shared his thoughts on the Mavs All-Star. Perhaps in reference to Montrezl Harrell's earlier comments at Doncic, Curry said:

Curry also added that he expected something big from Doncic the moment they knew he was going to suit up. To recall, Doncic was a game-time decision entering Sunday's duel due to a sprained ankle.

Tim Hardaway Jr., who had 21 points, was speechless about Doncic's antics. However, he offered new alias for the man called ‘Luka Magic.'

“That’s ‘The Don,’” Tim Hardaway Jr. said. “That’s why they call him ‘Luka Magic,’ man. I ain’t got nothing else to say. You guys call him ‘Luka Magic.’ I call him ‘The Don.’”

Game 5 between the Clippers and the Mavs will be on Tuesday. Will Doncic put on another show? Or will the Clippers finally find the formula to contain the surging Slovenian?
