Many praises came toward Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry's way after he dropped another masterful performance on Saturday night, despite it coming in a loss to the Dallas Mavericks. In the same way, Curry can also dish out praises himself, as he did for Mavs superstar Luka Doncic.

Following their epic clash on Saturday, Stephen Curry gave Luka Doncic his rightful credit for his play in his third NBA season.

Via Nick Friedell of ESPN:

That's definitely a spot on assessment from the three-time NBA champion. In just his third NBA season, Doncic has already proven that he is a legit superstar in the NBA and Curry has certainly taken notice of his rapid rise over his young NBA career.

The headlines won't feature Doncic's magnificent performance and will go under-the-radar due to Curry's 57-point explosion. The Slovenian Sensation went toe-to-toe with the two-time league MVP for much of the night.

While Curry dropped his second 50-plus point outing of the season, Doncic fired back with a fine 42 points of his own. Curry also had his 9th career game with 11 3-pointers, but Doncic made an also impressive seven triples of his own, including one down the stretch with 44 seconds to go to give Dallas a 7-point cushion.

Luka Doncic and the Mavs certainly bounced back in a huge way after losing by 31 points to this same Dubs team a couple of nights ago. More importantly, it stopped a six-game losing skid at home and earned them their 10th win of the season. Dallas still sits at 14th in the loaded Western Conference, but sit just 3.5 games behind the no. 4 spot.

The Mavs will look to carry the momentum of this huge win as they continue on the remaining five outings of their 7-game home stand, beginning with the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday.
