Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry is well aware of the “crazy” things Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic can do with the basketball. He witnessed that on Sunday in the Mavs' Game 7 victory over the Phoenix Suns.

Speaking to reporters on Monday, Curry shared his thoughts on the Mavs' Game 7 win and Luka's performance. The Slovenian banked 35 points and 10 assists in just 30 minutes of action. He scored 27 in the first half alone–tying the Suns' scoring output as a team in the same span–before he played sparingly in the second half after leading by as much as 46 points.

Naturally, Curry was impressed and highlighted how “special” Doncic is.

“Obviously Luka's doing what he's doing, putting up crazy numbers. The way he finished out that series was pretty special,” Curry said, per Callie Caplan of the Dallas Morning News.

Sure enough, Luka Doncic will be the biggest threat for the Warriors when the Western Conference Finals starts on Wednesday. The 23-year-old is really hard to stop, with his craftiness and ability to use his body to create mismatches being a nightmare for opposing defenders.

Of course the Warriors have an offensive weapon of their own in Stephen Curry, but despite his presence and their clear advantage of being an experienced championship squad, they cannot relax and be complacent against the gritty Mavs. The Suns learned that the hard way.
