Dallas Mavericks point guard Luka Doncic is no doubt the player that the Western Conference franchise will continue to build around in the coming years. Although Donic has only been in the NBA for two seasons, one of which was shortened by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the Mavs superstar has already solidified himself as one of the best all-around players in the entire league.

With Doncic and former New York Knicks big man Kristaps Porzingis serving as the two key pieces of the puzzle for the Mavs, it appears as though Dallas is open to any and all options when it comes to surrounding the European tandem with additional talent.

According to a recent report from Brad Townsend of the Dallas Morning News, Dallas will be making all of its players outside of Doncic and Porzingis available for a trade this offseason.

Such a strategy would be implemented in order for the Mavs to potentially add a lottery pick to their 2020 NBA Draft slate. As it stands today, the team currently owns the No. 18 and No. 31 overall picks in the first round of the 2020 NBA Draft.

Despite the fact that the NBA encountered an unprecedented campaign in 2019-20, the upstart Mavs still managed to find a way to create more than a few noteworthy headlines due to the presence of Luka Doncic and his stellar play. Even though Dallas ultimately went home a bit early, the No. 7-seeded Mavericks proved to be quite the tough out come playoff time down in Orlando.
