It's looking like a Slovenian reunion in Dallas!

Luka Doncic and Goran Dragic, two of Slovenia's greatest players, might be teaming up with the Mavs according to this report from Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report.

Via Bleacher Report:

“All my sources around the league have told me they expect Goran Dragic to be bought out by the Toronto Raptors and swiftly sign with the Dallas Mavericks.”

Adding more fuel to the flame is this photo of Doncic and Dragic in Slovenia. The Mavs superstar posted the photo of him working out with Dragic near the end of August, and considering that Dragic himself has expressed a desire to play with Doncic, it's safe to say that there's a big chance of this happening.

Alongside the rumors of Dragic to dallas, reports surfaced that the Mavs attended the NBA workouts of Lance Stephenson, Isaiah Thomas, and Monta Ellis. Chris Mannix reported that the Mavs were impressed by Stephenson and Thomas' performances.

Frankly speaking, Dragic is the most qualified of the three at this point in their careers, and would definitely be the biggest addition for their roster among veteran options. His chemistry with Luka playing for the Slovenian national team is valuable, and signing him would be a show of appreciation from the Mavs front office.

Goran Dragic isn't a slouch on the court either. While his production has dipped considerably, he doesn't need to carry an offense like he did in Miami. He just needs to help stabilize the Mavs whenever Luka Doncic is out and make sure that no momentum is lost.
