Here's something to warm your heart before 2020 comes to a close. Boban Marjanovic — the most delightful human in the NBA — and his Dallas Mavericks teammate/lead pianist Maxi Kleber, collaborated on a cover of Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga's smash duet “Shallow”, from the hit movie, “A Star Is Born.”

If you're tired of trying to fill that void (sorry) in these trying times, here's Boban (and Kleber, delicately skilled on the keys) serenading his wife for her birthday on Instagram with his own rendition of the deeply enjoyable pop ballad.

The 7'4 Serbian center married model and actress Milica Krstic in 2014.

If you're curious, here's (maybe) Boban Marjanovic's personalized lyrics for Krstic:

“I'll tell you something, girl.

You're so pretty and you're my whole world(?)

I love you to the moon.

Looking forward to see you soon.

I love you.

And want to wish you a happy birthday, just right now.”

In the words of Gaga: do you need more?

Marjanovic has appeared in two games for the Mavs in 2020-21. He's shot 58.1% from the field over his six-year career, and shot 100% on attempts to be a wonderfully entertaining person. Kleber is averaging 6.7 points and 4.3 rebounds for Dallas in three games this season, along with one extremely clutch assist on the keys.

Boban Marjanovic's other notable connection to a recent Hollywood hit? His memorable cameo as “giant dude who gets whooped by library books and Keanu Reeves” in the opening scene of “John Wick 3” in 2019.

“Shallow” reached the top of the charts and won the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 2019.

Marjanovic, though, has won his wife's — and all of our — hearts.
