Dallas Mavericks star Kristaps Porzingis and teammate Maxi Kleber joined forces to block Zion Williamson in the Mavs' game against the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday.

In their duel, Kleber was given the task of defending the hefty Williamson. More often than not, Zion got the best of Kleber. But in the possession below, he got help from Mavs teammate Porzingis and together, they swatted away the dunk attempt of the rising Pelicans star.

The 19-year-old Duke standout entered the game averaging 24.9 points on a stellar 58.8 percent from the field. Since making his debut in January, Williamson quickly became the focal point of Alvin Gentry's offense. Opposing teams have been having a hard time coming up with a strategy on how to stop the rookie, and the Mavs are no different.

The game plan seems to be to give him space to tempt him to shoot using that unrefined shooting form. Kleber did exactly that, but Williamson managed to muscle his way to the basket. Thankfully, the Mavs big man was able to absorb the contact, have the strength to jump up and swat the ball.
