Julius Randle didn’t even know what hit him on Friday night. The New York Knicks forward got a dose of some “Luka Magic” in the New York Knicks’ away game versus the Dallas Mavericks, as he tried to defend Luka Doncic dow low.

The sophomore sensation unleashed a couple of deceiving fakes to free himself up for an easy deuce early in the first quarter.

Doncic performed an initial pump fake which already kept Randle on his heels, followed by another one just over the bruising big’s shoulder that gave him enough separation to bank home an easy floater.

The 20-year-old Slovenian has looked like an MVP contender in just his second season, norming 26.7 points on 46.6 shooting from the field and 32.8 percent from three in Dallas’ first seven games. He’s also averaging a near triple-double with 9.9 rebounds and 9.1 assists while leading the Mavericks to a 5-2 start.
