Celebrating with teammates after a big play is a common practice in most sports. High-fives and chest bumps abound. However, there are times when some players are accidentally left out.

Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic experienced this firsthand during the Mavs' home game against the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night, a showdown between November's Rookie of the Month winners.

With just over three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, Doncic made his way over to an on-court celebration that was forming around Mavs swingman Wesley Matthews.

Matthews dapped up several of his teammates as they made their way towards the bench — everyone except Doncic, who was left hanging.

As you can see from the clip, Doncic took the snub in stride. He simply high-fived himself.

Though he was left hanging, Doncic played well against the Hawks. The former EuroLeague MVP logged 35 minutes in Wednesday's 114-107 win, scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, one block and one steal.

“He's a really good player and we can only hope to contain him,” Hawks guard Trae Young said of Doncic, who was just 5-of-14 from the field but had his second career double-double with 10 rebounds while adding a team-high six assists. “He didn't get too many good looks.”

The Mavs (15-11 and 2nd in the Southwest Division standings) are riding the wave of a three-game winning streak. Their next shot at claiming a victory comes on Thursday night, when they'll take on the Phoenix Suns inside Talking Stick Resort Arena.

Tip-off is set for 10:30 p.m. EST with TNT having live broadcast coverage.
