Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic took a scary fall in the first half of their game against the Los Angeles Lakers, which resulted in him immediately heading back to the Mavs' locker room.

Fortunately, Doncic was able to return to the court in the third quarter, much to the delight of a lot of NBA and Mavs fans.

Doncic is having a phenomenal season with the Mavs. Entering Sunday's showdown, he is averaging 29.1 points, 9.7 rebounds and 9.1 assists. He's also the main reason why Dallas is third in the Western Conference this season with a 21-10 record.

Doncic has had some scary-looking injuries while playing against the Lakers this season. He suffered a minor head injury when the team's played in Dallas back on November 2.

The Mavs are hoping to make the playoffs this season, and Luka Doncic will play a huge role in making that happen. A serious injury will hurt their chances of playing in the postseason for the first time since 2016.
