The Memphis Grizzlies desperately need a win in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals. After dropping a heartbreaker in Game 1, the last thing they want to do is travel to Oracle Arena and try to comeback against the Warriors down 2-0. A win on Tuesday in Game 2 guarantees that there will be a game 5 back in Memphis. The Grizzlies are going to do everything in their power to take care of business at home against Golden State.

But can they get the job done? Or will the Warriors prove to be to much to handle?

2 Bold Grizzles Game 2 Predictions

Ja Morant Gets a 30-Point Triple-Double in a Grizzlies' Victory

Morant fell one rebound shy of earning a 30-point triple-double in Game 1. However, a 34/10/9 line will suffice. But we can expect the star guard to gobble up that extra rebound while finding the bottom of the net and dishing out assists on a consistent basis in Game 2.

Morant was excellent for the most part in Game 1. Despite struggling with his jumper at times, he contributed in all facets of the game for Memphis. He should easily chalk up the assists if his teammates are hitting shots like they did in Game 1. Jaren Jackson Jr. stood out with his 10-18 shooting from the field and 6 three-pointers.

Morant is going to be the catalyst that leads Memphis to victory in this contest. He knows what it takes to win in this league despite limited postseason experience. There is no moment that is to big for Ja Morant.

I would project his final line on Tuesday looking something like 35/11/10. And they will not be “show” stats. In other words, each of those stats are going to matter. Morant won't get a triple-double just for show. Each point, assist, and rebound will mean something for Memphis in what projects to be another competitive and exciting matchup between the Grizzlies and Warriors.

Dillon Brooks and Desmond Bane Combine for 40 Points

Jaren Jackson Jr. stole the show for Memphis along with Ja Morant in Game 1. Meanwhile, Desmond Bane and Dillon Brooks labored throughout the contest with their shots. They went a combined 6-23 from the field and hit just 3 combined three-pointers in the game. Brooks finished with just 8 points while Bane posted 9 points.

But the duo should be in store for a rebound in Game 2. They are both talented scorers who have the ability to get hot at any moment. With Morant dishing out assists, expect Bane and Brooks to be the beneficiaries of those passes more often than not. Golden State's defense will likely focus on containing Jackson Jr. which should open up opportunities for Bane and Brooks.

Maybe one of them will score 24 and the other will post 16. Or perhaps they will both score 20 points each. No matter how they get there, look for the duo to combine for 40 points in this crucial Game 2 affair.
