The Memphis Grizzlies are reportedly having a hard time getting players to work out for the franchise ahead of the 2018 NBA Draft.

How do we know this? A report surfaced saying as much.

Oddly enough, it has been rumored that the Grizzlies are actively shopping their first round pick, mostly in the hopes of dumping the contract of Chandler Parsons. While there might not be a direct connection to the above report and this rumor, it could explain some of it.

Then again, it could mean nothing and the above report could be a sign of some larger issue. While that's obviously only pure — and uneducated — conjuncture, people can run with this as it being a bad look for the Grizzlies.

Nevertheless, the 2018 NBA Draft is quickly approaching and Memphis will need to figure something out. It is common practice for franchises to have multiple individual workouts prior to each draft, even if that team believes it already knows who they are selecting.

With all of that being said, this isn't a huge deal. Something to monitor for sure, but nothing to believe will explode into some large debacle or anything — at least, one shouldn't think that, but it is hard to believe there's no underlying issue here.
