If you had Memphis Tigers coach Penny Hardaway comparing James Wiseman to Chris Bosh in your college basketball offseason pool, go collect your money. Also, for good measure, the man who wants all the smoke wanted to credited John Calipari for how one-and-dones are coached.

For those unaware, prior to becoming an official member of the Memphis Tigers, James Wiseman was the No. 1 overall prospect in his recruiting class. While some NBA Draft gurus soured on him, believing his initial stock was hyped to an unrealistic level, those who have seen him play recently have claimed he's much improved since his time in high school.

On the other hand, Chris Bosh is a multiple time NBA All-Star who also won a couple of titles while with the Miami Heat. It can be argued he's a borderline Hall of Fame level player.

Finally, the man doing the comparison, Penny Hardaway, who has the nation's best group of freshmen in the country for the 2019-20 college basketball season, would know a little something about comparing college players to pros. After all, he spent time in college and in the NBA.

Certainly, without a doubt, Penny's comparison will be met without any irrational reactions.
