Michael Bisping has just dropped quite the truth bomb on Conor McGregor and MMA fans. The former UFC champion was not holding back on both as he discussed the latest news on McGregor.
Conor McGregor has been getting a lot of attention for wanting to get the next UFC lightweight title shot. Michael Bisping doesn't blame McGregor or even Dana White for the fight potentially happening.
“A lot of people inside the top-15, top-5, top-10, they’re gonna say: ‘What the fuck is happening? Why is Conor McGregor getting to skip the line?’ Well guess what? As I said this is prize fighting, this is about pay-per-views. This is the UFC and they put on the fights, historically that we want to see, okay.” Bisping said on his YouTube channel. “The fights that we want to see, they are the fights the UFC put up. So, if you’re not happy that Conor McGregor might get to skip the line and fight the champion when he’s not even ranked, don’t blame Conor McGregor, don’t blame Dana White, don’t blame the UFC, blame your-fucking-self because you are ultimately responsible.”
It's an interesting point Michael Bisping brings up about McGregor and how MMA fans affect fights. He doesn't put any blame on the UFC.
The decision about the next lightweight title shot will come soon and it seems the UFC will choose between Conor McGregor and Justin Gaethje. It will be interesting to see what happens in the lightweight division in the upcoming months.
