The Milwaukee Bucks and Chicago Bulls have finalized a trade centered around former Rookie of the Year Michael Carter-Williams.

In the said deal, Carter-Williams will now act as Rajon Rondo’s backup in exchange for the sweet-shooting Tony Snell, who will then look to provide much needed outside scoring after Khris Middleton’s injury, per ESPN’s Jeff Goodman.

Last season, Carter-Williams averaged a decent line of 11.5 points, 5.1 rebounds, 5.2 assists, and 1.5 steals, but continued to turn the ball over more often than the Bucks wanted with 2.8 miscues per game.

On the other hand, Snell was very quiet for Chicago with 5.3 points and 3.1 rebounds in 20.3 minutes per game. His ability to hit the three ball appears to be what got the Bucks feeling good since they already have Giannis Antetokounmpo manning the point guard spot backed up by recently crowned champion Matthew Dellavedova.

Reports of a brewing trade were already making the rounds last night and the non-appearance of both players in their teams' preseason matchup yesterday only added fuel to the speculation. Now, it has come to fruition.
