Michael Vick and Chad Ochocinco were among the best players of their generation, but they also concluded their NFL careers with bare fingers. As most people know, neither one of them won a Super Bowl ring during their time in the league. But for Vick, that would not have been the case if he and Ochocinco (now Chad Johnson) found themselves on the same team.

Per TMZ Sports:

“Man, I mean, to have him, I would have probably had a ring for sure,” Mike says.

Chad seemed to agree, saying, “That woulda been dope.”

It’s a worthwhile topic to talk about. Any team that that had Michael Vick and Chad Ochocinco during their primes would have been hard to stop. Vick was the quintessential dual-threat quarterback who, when at the top of his game, played like a created video game character. Ochocinco, on the other hand, was a touchdown reception magnet, thanks to his speed and athleticism.

Vick, however, knows that a possibility of him and Ochocinco on the same team back in the day was only a pipe dream, given how much they were valued by their respective teams.

“He woulda never got traded and I woulda never got traded, so we woulda had to have been drafted at the same time,” Vick says.

Vick and Ochocinco were part of the 2001 NFL Draft class. Vick was selected first overall by the Atlanta Falcons, while Ochocinco was chosen by the Cincinnati Bengals in the second round (36th overall).
