With all of social media abuzz over the confrontation between Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo and forward Gabe Brown in the tunnel heading into the team's locker room on Thursday night against UCLA, Spartan alumnus Draymond Green took to Twitter to shrug off the incident.

As a player known for operating with a high level of emotion, Draymond Green tweeted out that such incidents are common occurrences at Michigan State and should be of little concern moving forward.

Considering the number of times Draymond Green has engaged in screaming matches with the normally mild-mannered Steve Kerr, there's a definite possibility that locker room arguments were a regular occurrence between Green and Tom Izzo.

Despite the Spartans entering halftime with a double-digit lead over the UCLA Bruins in their match in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, Izzo was visibly frustrated over the team's defensive effort to close out the half. Draymond Green saw this.

With Brown having been primarily responsible for the breakdown that allowed the Bruins to score as time expired, Izzo confronted the forward as the two made their way to the locker room, a scene familiar to Draymond Green. While the coach tried to grab the junior, Brown immediately spun away and attempted to walk off before Izzo grabbed a handful of the player's jersey and tried to reel him back in. Not surprisingly, the 6'8, 185-pound forward was just a bit too big for the coach to hold.

Though games in the tournament are often filled with a high degree of emotion, rarely does that boil over into such overt confrontations between coaches and their players. Still, according to Draymond Green, such incidents are par for the course when playing under Izzo.

It turns out the madness hasn't been limited to the court during the first day of the NCAA Tournament. Draymond Green watched as Michigan State blew a late lead and lost to UCLA in overtime.
