Miesha Tate's UFC return was going great until UFC Vegas 43. She was set to put herself in a position to fight for the title with a statement win over Ketlen Vieira.

Unfortunately for Miesha Tate, things didn't go her way as Ketlen Vieira was able to keep the fight standing and outboxed her throughout the fight. It was an interesting five-round bout as Viera took control of things early. Her coach wasn't happy with her performance though.

He could be heard yelling at her both in her corner and during the actual fight. He felt Ketlen Vieira was tentative during her UFC Vegas 43 bout.

Miesha Tate was all class after the fight, She spoke to Daniel Cormier in the cage after the UFC Vegas 43 main event was over.

“I thought it was really close, I wasn’t sure, to be honest,” Tate told Daniel Cormier during her in-cage UFC post-fight interview. “I thought it was close and I knew that there was a possibility she won. I did my best tonight and came up short. She’s the better woman, hat’s off to her. She’s great.”

Miesha Tate went on to say she enjoyed the moment and is loving the journey. The former UFC champion was very positive.
