Beyond the Golden State Warriors‘ utter dominance in this year's playoffs, All-Star guard Klay Thompson has dealt with notable offensive struggles.

Thompson has experienced much difficulty in finding any consistency with his shot at any point in this postseason. However, interim head coach Mike Brown doesn't appear to be too concerned with the 27-year-old's offensive woes.

His shooting struggles continued in Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers as Thompson tied a playoff-low with six points after a 3-of-16 shooting night. Despite that, he made a tremendous impact on the other end of the floor forcing tough looks for the likes of LeBron James and Kyrie Irving.

Thompson's individual defense has been one of his calling cards throughout his NBA career. In fact, he is regarded as one of the top defenders at his position in the league.

The Warriors were able to more than suffice offensively in spite of Thompson with huge scoring nights from Kevin Durant, who had a game-high 38 points, and Stephen Curry, who recorded a double-double with 28 points including six 3-pointers and 10 assists. Golden State also dished out 31 assists to just four turnovers while holding a 56-30 edge in points in the paint.

Thompson hasn't quite been himself through the first 13 games of the playoffs averaging 13.8 points on 36.6 percent shooting and 33.8 percent from beyond the arc, which are all postseason-career lows. He will have a chance to finally break through offensively in Game 2 on Sunday night.
