The Minnesota Vikings have yet to regain their previous form from last season as they now dropped to a 0-2 record following a loss to the Indianapolis Colts in Week 2.  Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer was also critical of his quarterback in Kirk Cousins who “didn’t play very good” and failed to lead the team to victory.

He also found nothing positive to say about the whole team either as his men only scored a measly 11-point output on Sunday.

“Right now, we’re not very good at anything.”, he stated.

Referring to what adjustments they have to do for their coming game in Week 3:

“Figure out what we’re good at and let’s start doing what we’re good [at],” Zimmer said, via Chip Scoggins of the Minneapolis Star Tribune. “Right now, we’re not very good at anything.”

Kirk Cousins was limited from making plays under center and only tallied a total of 113 passing yards on 11 of 26 passes completed along with three interceptions. He received little help from his supporting cast which was only led by running back Dalvin Cook who recorded 63 receiving yards on 14 carries and a touchdown.

The wideout trio of Justin Jefferson, Adam Thielen, and Olabisi Johnson also failed to get going in the game as they were all prevented from scoring a touchdown for the team. The matchup eventually ended on a 28-11 outcome in favor of the Colts.

Entering Week 3 with a winless record, Mike Zimmer and the rest of the Vikings will have to make the necessary adjustments for them to be able to get out of their slump. They will face another tall task as they aim to snag their first win of the season against the Tennessee Titans on September 27.
