The Minnesota Timberwolves are already considered as one of the teams to watch over the next few years.

Thanks to Andrew Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns leading the pack, Minnesota is already having its own playoff dreams as early as now. It helps that these two players gave the team back-to-back Rookie of the Year winners.

The feat is already unprecedented, but this young team has a chance to make history, and it all depends on rookie Kris Dunn. If the talented point guard manages to win this year’s Rookie of the Year plum, the Minnesota Timberwolves would be the first team to have three straight winners of the award.

Dunn’s case was made even stronger by the unfortunate injury of this year’s top overall pick, Ben Simmons. But that’s not to take away anything from the guard out of Providence because he is as talented as they come.

Ultimately, regardless if he wins the award or not, this doesn’t pull down the intensifying feeling of excitement from Timberwolves fans everywhere. The future is as bright as the full moon and the wolfpack is howling.
