Minnesota has a well-balanced roster but needs some tweaking to finally get over the hump. Justin Jefferson is the superstar on this team and the offense should run through him from here on out. However, he needs some help in the passing game, which makes Tyler Conklin a must re-sign for the Vikings.

Defensively, this roster sits right in the middle of the pack. With a few changes, the Vikings could become one of the best defenses in the league. Don't be shocked if most of the acquisitions made focus on the defensive side of the ball. Furthermore, it's time Minnesota finds Adam Thielen's replacement and we could see a big splash signing to help the secondary vastly improve.

With that said, here are our four bold Vikings offseason predictions.

Vikings Offseason Predictions

4. Tyler Conklin re-signs with Minnesota

He's not the most popular name, but Tyler Conklin flashed potential last year. Especially after Adam Thielen fell to injury late in the season. Conklin is still young, blocks well, and proved to be reliable in the red zone. This would be a smart move for the Vikings, as they'd retain a consistent tight end without breaking the bank.

3. The front office focuses on revamping the defense

They do have some solid pieces on the defensive end, but it's time for the Vikings to make some improvements. Between free agency and the NFL Draft, we could see Minnesota go all-in to revamp the defense. Finding an upgrade in the pass rush would go a long way, as it would ultimately help the team in general. However, the front office could be looking for help in each position.

2. Vikings draft Adam Thielen's eventual replacement

Adam Thielen has been a phenomenal receiver throughout his career. He likely won't be leaving the team soon, but considering he's in his 30s, now is the time for the Vikings to find his replacement. Luckily for Minnesota, the upcoming NFL Draft is loaded with talent. After selecting Justin Jefferson a couple of years ago, Minnesota fans should feel confident in their team's ability to find prospect receivers.

1. Marcus Maye surprisingly signs with the Vikings

Marcus Maye struggled with injuries last season, but he's been a solid free safety throughout his career. With the New York Jets in a full rebuild, Maye might consider searching for a new franchise to play for. He's an extremely talented player who has been underrated. If the Vikings were to sign him, the secondary should receive a huge boost in production moving forward. Bringing him in along with whoever else the front office signs, we could be looking at one of the league's top defenses next season.
