As the MLB Trade Deadline approaches, many teams are still deciding whether to buy or sell. Despite being nine games back of the Red Sox and sitting in third place in the AL East, selling really isn't an option for the New York Yankees.

The Bronx Bombers had World Series aspirations at the beginning of the year and to reach that mountain top, they will need to turn things around quickly. Adding at the trade deadline could be the jolt the Yankees need.

While they could stand to add a couple more arms, it sounds like a bat could be a primary focus. According to Jon Morosi of MLB Network, the Yankees could be in on Minnesota Twins outfielder Max Kepler.

It has been a dreadful year for the Twins and unlike the Yankees, they will be willing to wheel and deal. Minnesota has already sent Nelson Cruz to the Rays and that could be just the first of many moves for them.

While the prize pieces other teams desire from the Twins include Byron Buxton and Jose Berrios, the Yankees might not have the chips to send back in a trade for either. Max Kepler certainly has a lower asking price and could be a perfect fit in the New York outfield.

It seems as though any and everyone is on the table for the Twins and teams like the Yankees can try to swoop in to get deals done.

Kepler sputtered out of the gates this year for Minnesota but has really picked it up as of late. He's on a very affordable deal and the Yankees need at least one more left hitter in their lineup.
