Despite showing less games, TNT has cemented its place on top of the NBA media ladder alongside ESPN, providing excellent coverage and commentary from their Inside the NBA crew. Next season, basketball fans will get more of TNT basketball as their coverage will extend to include Monday night doubleheaders.

The new coverage will begin on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, which is January 16. First, TNT will air the NBA Finals rematch between the Cavaliers and Warriors in Oakland, followed by the Thunder visiting the Clippers in Los Angeles.

Other top games include Kevin Durant and the Warriors playing his former Thunder team on March 20 and the Cavs taking on the Spurs on March 27.

Overall, TNT will host 64 televised games next season, including the season opener between the Cavs and Knicks on October 25. The Monday night doubleheaders will occur 10 times on TNT.
